This design was created in Photoshop. I started by creating a grid to work with so that everything would line up perfectly. I created a text box that lined up with the grid and typed in a quote from my favorite author, Kurt Vonnegut. I used Century Gothic for the text. I adjusted the lines of text to fit into the grid, and changed the font of some lines to be bold. I adjusted the leading to create the blank spaces in-between the lines of text. I changed the color of the text to a cool color pallette that is easy on the eyes against the dark grey background. I then added a blue rectangle in the empty spaces, as well as above and below the text, to continue with the grid. I've seen a lot of quotes like this floating around the internet and I was happy to create one of my own.
